Perfect fit, great style! They work for day and day-to-evening. The houndstooth check is small enough to that the shoes would work great beyond black or white. If you like the pic, you’ll love the shoes.

I bought them as possible shoes to wear to a winter wedding and love their sassiness, but I never wear heels and so I opted for a lower version. These felt verrrryy comfortable for trying on, though, and I think I’ll have to try other Sam Edelman shoes. My feet are in between 8 and 8.5, depending on the shoe and/or how I want them to fit. These ones didn’t slip off my heels while walking, but they felt like they could if I wore stockings. So when I try other styles, I’ll likely order size 8.

It was a little big for me. The are pointy so I think if i get them smaller, they will wind up being too narrow in the toe area. I think they are beautiful, but I have to return.
