Great boots and comfortable from the start. I have a narrow foot; these boots ran a half size too big for me—-I am a standard size 7.5 and had to return for a size 7.

Looks great in the picture. When they arrived, the boots looked plastic/inexepensive. So disappointed. I’ve purchased so many shoes and boots so I guess one yuck is acceptable

Even with the thickest socks, the heel area was too loose and would rub on my heel. These boots were not made for walking!

Love the look of these boots. Quality and materials feel mid-grade. Sale price made it worth it.
Biggest issue is they are HUGE. Read the reviews, and made sure to measure my foot according to the size charts to get the right size, because these were on sale and non-returnable. I shouldn’t have trusted the Sam Edelman size charts. They are NOT accurate! Now I’ve got boots that are much to big and I can’t return or exchange them.
Also, for some reason on these lace-up boots, there is a side zipper? Why are there zippers on lace-up boots? I had to look at the images several times before I noticed that yes, indeed, a zipper is pictured. Adding a zipper just means you can’t lace them up tight enough, and gives them a nice leaky ankle side for water and rain to get in.
Unfortunately my purchase experience was kind of disappointing because the site’s sizing information isn’t accurate, even when measuring. They are unwearable. Learned my lesson not to trust size charts, and never buy anything that doesn’t allow exchanges!

The fit & size was way off…they were a half size too big, the shoes are heavy & looks very big on your foot. I was shocked at these because I own quite a few pairs of Sam Edelman shoes, and was quite satisfied with them. In a nutshell, do not purchase these shoes. I wore them 2 times & thru them way in the back of my closet. Feel like I wasted my money

They are utilitarian looking, but there is (synthetic) fleece inside so they should be warm. I have large feet & there was actually room in the toe for heavy winter socks, & they fit my orthotics ! Hallelujah!
