These Sam Edelman Colin penny loafers are a classic that is always in style. They work with skirts and suits, but my favorite way to wear them is with a pair of jeans and a white shirt. I wear them with or without socks, depending on the weather. This shoe is made of a mix of leather and man-made materials with a sturdy, but flexible sole and a stacked heel. The innersole is super cushioned, making the shoe extremely comfortable. No break-in was required for me. I love them.

I didn’t think that I’d be able to pull this shoe off but mannn! I didn’t did and I love them. I’ve dressed these up for work and I’ve even worn these with jeans. The best quality and they were comfortable for my wide feet.

I am loving these Sam Edelman shoes. They came very nicely packaged. I did order my regular shoe size. They are about a size too big, however I been wearing heavier socks so they do not rub my feet. These shoes look great with my jeans as well as my dressier outfits. I been wearing these to work and they are very comfortable to walk in and have a good cushion sole. Overall very pleased because of the comfortable level and that they can be dressed up or down. I need brown now and I will be set!

I’m not usually a loafer person, but these are absolutely gorgeous. The leather is buttery soft and shiny. Every little detail speaks of high quality craftsmanship. Plus they are so comfortable to wear. They fit true to size. Just an absolutely stellar pair of shoes.

Length and instep width were true to size, but shoes gapped at arch and slipped on my heel. That was new. Probably would stretch more as worn. This is a beautiful Shoe!

Sam Edelman – COLIN My immediate reaction when I opened the box: the shoes looked heavy and not for my age group (low 40s). I couldn’t think of anything it would look good with in my closet. It’s a classic style and it’s an extremely well made quality shoe. However, they didn’t fit, as they run big. I’m a 9 and I would estimate they run a 1/2 size too big. They looked a bit clunky on my feet. They are comfortable and felt like walking or standing for hours shouldn’t be a problem. I really don’t like them for me, but I could see others really loving this shoe based on personal style and preference. If you like this look, I definitely recommend based off the quaking.

Colin by Sam Edelman, are brown genuine leather loafers whose sizing fit perfectly on my feet. They are very true to sizing.
The brown is a delicate deep brown and the smell of leather is absolutely complimentary to my nose. I like the smell of leather. Personal taste.
These are in penny loafer style, with the heel height being likely under an inch (2.54cm) maybe more an half inch (1.27cm).
The heel is not tight about the toes and I like that it provides some arch support.
I would certainly recommend them.

I ordered my usual size. It feels too long and my heels slip out. Toebox is very flat/shallow if your toe/front part of your foot is thick, this may not fit. My daughter couldn’t get her feet in even though the shoe was too long for her. This is made for a flat, thin and longer feet. Not for me.

I bought several pairs of black loafers to try with the goal of selecting one. I really, really liked these. The fit was quite good, though a little bit of gapping on the sides which I think might disappear after breaking in a little, and one of my heels lifted out of the shoe more than I’d like. One other small thing that bothered me a little was that the “penny slot” cross piece does not lay flat, though maybe that makes them able to stretch a smidge to different instep heights. The shoe is definitely high-quality, comfy inside, and I liked them so much I was considering keeping them as a second pair. But, they are just a tad formal for what I was seeking due to the shiny leather and smooth, non-lug sole, and they will not get as much wear as my primary choice (different brand with a slight lug sole and more matte leather) so I couldn’t justify it for the price. I may regret sending them back, though, as their classic style makes them a closet staple.

I love this shoe so except that it keeps slipping off my heel so could not walk in them. Otherwise they were very comfortable but couldn’t walk in them so had to be returned.

I’ve ordered probably a dozen pairs of loafers over the last 2 years, all prices ranges, and this is the pair. They fit well (average width, size 9), are a quality/beautiful shoe, and the slightly thicker sole gives it a bit of style (I was kind of done with the chunky/waffle soles). One heel slips a little bit for me… I’ll add a heel grip there.

I purchased these as a birthday gift for my daughter. Within the first month they split and fell apart. I’m surprised by the poor quality and unfortunately we will return.

I bought this about 2-3 weeks ago in the Black and White combo and absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!! They are super comfortable and fit perfect in my smaller size of 6.5. I’m anywhere from a 6.5 – 7M. I consider my feet on the wider side but the 6.5M fit fabulously. There was no gapping/buckling on sides like every other loafer I tried this year nor any break-in time. I bought PG loafers for an ungodly price and that was on sale and they gave me the worse blisters at my heel. Never happened before but These Colin Loafers are beautiful. Excellent quality of course! Sam never fails in style or comfort!! And price is reasonable for the quality plus I try to always hit his sales days. If on the FENCE about them climb on over and buy them!!

This shoe has a great profile and the tortoise finish was beautiful. But the quality is just not there. I wore the shoes twice and the finish split in the area where your foot bends when walking. Very disappointing. Would not recommend these

I ordered a half a size smaller than I normally wear and they were perfect. They were out of my normal size and I wanted them so badly that I ordered the half size down. Lol. They work great! This is a beautiful shoe and they have padding in the heel which is great. Very good quality and I love the logo.
