The shaft of this boot is abnormally wide. My daughters calves are average size and this boot, even in jeans is way too wide.

They came in terrible condition after waiting 3 weeks to receive them in the first place. Sam Edelman left a horrible taste in my mouth with this being my very first purchase with them directly!!! I can say I’ll never buy again!!!

Love these shoes! I am 4’10 with small feet, size 2 kids and size 4 in women’s and have slightly wide feet as well. Always have had trouble finding shoes especially boots that fit me very well. With kids boots the shaft is usually too narrow and cannot zip them up all the way, especially over jeans. Women’s boots size 4 lately have been too big for me. Love that I finally founds kids boots with wide enough shaft to fit over jeans, slightly snug with thicker jeans but that’s ok. Will be ordering them in the brown. And they look like adult shoes!

These are ridiculous–really. Not at all proportionate. My daughter could have fit 2 of her legs in a shaft that wide–they were literally gaping open. What a shame.

These boots are ridiculously marked as Big Kid but they are the smallest size of an adult boot. The calf is enormous and looks like my kid is borrowing my shoes. Returning.
