The leather is soft and comfortable. There is no stiffness or “digging in” anywhere on the shoe and the size 9, my normal shoe size fits like a glove. Buying a pair for my daughter.

These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I have always felt a little unconfident about my feet since they are kind of wide. Once I put on these shoes, my feet look visually skinny and yet they are so comfy. They are true to size, I am size 5.5 and they fit perfectly.

I wore my Sam Edelman – Michaela Mary Jane flats yesterday for 4 hours in the afternoon and was so surprised to have a new pair of shoes that were so comfortable. I wore them with a pair of gray silk slacks and they looked beautiful and then when I came home and changed and put on a pair of jeans with a gray sweater and they still looked very great. The surprising part was the comfort, and softness of the leather which did not make your mail a feet sore like a lot of new shoes. Really like that you could buckle them to your comfort level. These shoes ran true to size not like other she’s I have purchased. Good job!

I was looking for a pair of flat, black shoes that could be worn in both a work and casual setting and these Sam Edelman shoes fit the bill. The leather is so soft, with a matte black finish. Since the Mary Jane strap does go up a bit further on your foot, you have to undo the buckle to put them on. They won’t just slide on like a loafer. No big deal but worth noting. The footbed is made from cushiony foam and feels so nice to walk in. This helps add some comfort since they are flats and don’t have much arch support. I like that the toe area is squared, allowing your toes to not get pushed together. The transition area from leather to where the top of your foot shows is also a soft square shape thich compliments the toe shape. I’m truly impressed by the quality of the materials and the comfortable feel while walking. Plus they are just too cute.
They came with a little story book sharing their company’s sustainability mission.The packaging is made with soy based ink and the box is made from 80% recyclable materials. The box and tissue paper are 100% recyclable. These flats look and feel very high end. These are my first Sam Edelman shoes but they won’t be my last.

These shoes are amazing! They are soft on the outside and are so comfortable. I can dress them up or down and it goes well with everything. There isn’t much padding, so I just add a shoe pad inside and it’s great! The shoe moves with my feet which is important to me. Everytime I put on the shoes I am excited at how comfortable and high quality they are. My feet are wide, so the toe area is a bit tight, but the shoe will stretch it seems like. I love this brand!

I love these Maryjane shoes. They are cute, stylish and comfortable. They are leather and are soft. They fit perfectly. Super cute for special occasions. I wouldn’t wear them every day. These shoes are well worth the price. Great quality.

I love these so much! The shape is elegant with the squared toe, and they are really nicely constructed. They look and feel like much more expensive shoes. I got a lot of compliments on them, which is always fun. The leather is really soft, which meant no chafing, even when I wore these for the first time, without socks. I wear a 39 and I ordered an 8.5 and it fits well. Can’t wait to get the velvet ones also.

I purchased these mary jane flats in the modern ivory color and I love them! The leather is soft and flexible which was amazing for my wide feet. They run a little long so I would suggest to size down half a size. I’m usually a size 9 but I could have fit an 8.5 comfortably in these. If you’re considering buying these but wavering in your decision, consider this confirmation to buy them!

I’m 7.5 for Sam Edelman felicia flat, so I ordered 7.5 for this Mary Jane but way longer, then I got a pair of 7, the length is good enough but just like other review, the front is a bit narrower than expected even for narrow foot. Still keep it, just not as perfect as other sam style.

This Mary Jane shoe is the ideal little flat. True to size and so many colors to choose from. Others have commented about the gap at the side when they take a step. I also noticed this at first, but as I wore the shoe the leather softened and began to mold to my foot. I no longer experience the gap at the side of the shoes. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. I have 3 different colors, black, beige, and pistachio. The beige has a patent leather look. All are beautiful. I will be going back for the navy. Perfect to dress up or down.

I purchased the navy patent color. I really like these Mary Janes. I have these shoes in two other colors. For me they were true to size. My feet measure 9 inches and I ordered the size 6, which is my normal size. The leather is soft and I wore them right out of the box, no blisters. These look good with skinny leg pants and pencil skirts.

Cute and comfy…who could ask for more. I wore these shoes for the first time on a recent trip to New York City. Kind of risky, not knowing how comfortable they would be and knowing I was going to be doing a ton of walking. They were perfect! Wore them all day with no issues and got tons of compliments. I am a size 9 on the left foot and 8-1/2 on the right foot, which makes buying shoes extremely difficult. I bought these shoes in a size 9, and the straps hold the shoe on my smaller foot. I also have hammer toes and have had three surgeries on my toes, and it is rare that I find a comfortable pair of shoes. As soon as I put these shoes on I was shocked
at how soft the leather is and how comfortable they are. There is not a lot of arch support, but I will mostly be wearing these for dressier events for a short time so I don’t think this will be an issue. They also are so cute.

Great shoes, point off for its lack of slip resistance. I slipped on stone steps and broke my foot lol. Not necessarily the shoes fault, I just run everywhere. Also if you have an inkling that you should size up just do it. Your toes will be more free. Great for walking and easy break in period. I wear these all around NYC they’re great. Also I love this color way it goes with everything, I almost went with the black leather but this can be dressy or casual depending on the styling which I love.

I have hard to fit feet because I have a medium foot with a high instep and very narrow heel. These have been great from the moment they came out of the box. Wish they came in a tan leather or a red leather.
